True to size.
We recommend going up a half size if you run wide or plan on wearing thick socks.
Mr. Harrison is made on our Rock last. With its round shaped toe, this last has a roomy toe box. If you have a wide foot, this is a great choice.
So. Many. Compliments.
These boots are the most expensive shoes I own (even with the sale price), but I'm not mad. They're totally worth the price of admission. The construction is solid, and the attention to detail during the manufacturing process is evident everywhere. I can't even tell you how many people have lost their mind over them, wanting to know where I got them, saying they're adorable, etc.
I'd never bought from this brand before, so I was unsure on sizing, but I felt as though I got the right information from the website. It seemed like these boots were slightly stiff when I tried them on, and I wasn't sure what to expect going forward, but the suede softened up a bit after the first wearing. I did need to line the inside of the boots with a thin strip of moleskin, right at the top, where there was some rubbing against the back of my leg, following another reviewer's recommendation. This worked well for me, and I have calves for DAYS - legs like a hockey player. I also applied protective spray to the suede. Cadillac is my brand of choice, and there was no appreciable change to the appearance or feel of the suede when I applied it as recommended.
My second full day of wearing these included travel - the zipper made for easy removal in the TSA line, and there was plenty of walking. I had no rubbing or blisters, and didn't experience sore feet after half a day of walking in Las Vegas.
I'm thrilled with my purchase, and would happily buy again. I'm also happy to recommend the brand to…
