True to size.
If you run narrow or are in between sizes we recommend going down a half size.
Mr. Franklin is made on our Rock last. With its round shaped toe, this last has a roomy toe box. If you have a wide foot, this is a great choice.
Worth every penny!
This is the first pair of Angela Scott shoes I've purchased; it's definitely not my last! Of course I was wary of the price tag (thinking I could get 3 pair of decent shoes for the same cost). But I'd heard (and read) the raves, so I was willing to take a chance. Plus, I'm in a new career for which I spend over 8 hours a day on my feet. AND, my feet can be troublesome (bunion, Morton's neuroma, narrow in the arch, wide in the toe box area...). I opted for a shoe built on the Rock last to great success.
OK, enough of the build up. These shoes fit perfectly right out of the box. When we had our grand opening for a 120,000 sq. ft. retail store, I took a chance and wore these for the first time for 10 hours straight (on my feet). I required not a single band-aid! I couldn't believe it. I wore these shoes on two consecutive 9 hour days. By the end of the third day (that's about 30 hours on my feet), I patched a very minor issue on one pinky toe (not a blister, just a hot spot, which healed quickly and was not a concern a few days later).
Oh, and the comments! I've received compliments galore on the craftsmanship and overall style... down to the tiniest details including the shoelace aglets! Amazing! I'm deciding which pair is next. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
P.S. Sizing Info: I usually wear a women's 8.5-9 and ordered a 39.5 based on recommendations.
