Fits true to size.
We recommend going down a half size if you are narrow.
Mr. Oliver is made on our Rock last. With its round shaped toe, this last has a roomy toe box. If you have a wide foot, this is a great choice.
The cutest shoe, but not so comfortable
I love the style of this shoe. So unique. It runs a little big but I think you should still order your regular size if you’ll wear a sock with it.
Two problems: the white patent leather gets marked up SO easily and seems to come off with a little alcohol or acetone but it still leaves a mark that doesn’t come out. Bummer.
The more important flaw is the leather is stiff and so far - only my first wearing- I can’t say that I’m thrilled with the comfort. These shoes are very expensive so I will have to try to break them in, but not sure if I will be successful.

Thank you for your review and feedback on your new shoes. It's completely normal for your new shoes to feel tight or stiff right out of the box. We recommend using Skidmore's Leather Cream to apply with a cloth on the outside of your shoes. This will help open up the leather fibers, while adding a protective layer.
Another effective tip for loosening the leather is to use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol to apply on the inside area where it's feeling tight. After the alcohol soaks in, you can walk around in your house for about 20-30 minutes and reapply as necessary. It will take a few days to loosen up the leather and form to your feet, but this break in tip usually works wonders! I would give it a full week to apply the rubbing alcohol each day consistently and wear inside your house with socks.
