Meticulously made in a small village in Portugal, our Goodyear Welted footwear is carefully crafted by fifth generation cobblers (nope, that’s not a typo). The perfect merger of old world craftsmanship and modern-day style, every stitch is considered.	

It seemed only natural that we’d name a shoe after a fierce feminist writer like Rosario Castellanos. Remembered as a symbol of Latin American feminism, the Mexican-born poet and author was one of the country’s most influential literary voices of her time. An eloquent writer with a penchant for covering gender oppression, Rosario paved the way for a whole new generation of female writers.
