Meticulously made in a small village in Portugal, our Goodyear Welted footwear is carefully crafted by fifth generation cobblers (nope, that’s not a typo). The perfect merger of old world craftsmanship and modern-day style, every stitch is considered.	

Coined after feminist activist, Josephine Butler, we looked to the Victorian vigilante when designing our own trailblazing Oxford. A fierce proponent of women’s suffrage and equal education opportunities, the progressive thinker was once hailed as “the most distinguished Englishwomen of the nineteenth century.”
